i feel like a target

I feel like a target,
because people treat me like one.
Every chance they get,
they make me feel like I'm gone.
They don't respect me.
If they didn't hate me, they wouldn't even know I'm there.
I always feel so lonely,
but they don't even care.

I feel like a target.
Even though they treat me like I'm not there.
No one tries to listen.
No one even cares.
So why should i bother,
try to make them see that I'm there?

I feel like a target.
But that doesn't mean I am.
It doesn't mean anything,
because I know what I am.

I Am Not A Target.

And no one can tell me differently.
